After a small blood draw, we will apply a numbing cream to the area. When the skin is ready and numbed, we’ll pass over it with the device chosen and treat the area.
Manual derma rollers or automatic devices create tiny holes in your skin, stimulating its natural healing processes – and creating micro-wounds for the PRP or PRF to penetrate.
In addition, the micro-injury created by the needles will stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin, promoting facial rejuvenation by reducing facial wrinkles and scars.
A consultation will determine if you are a good candidate for this treatment. We will explain the do’s and don’ts and, most importantly, the aftercare protocol. The microneedling treatment time typically takes about 60 minutes – giving us plenty of time to centrifugate that blood sample into PRP or PRF. We will use your PRP / PRF during your micro-needling and massage the PRP/PRF into the treated areas to help the platelets and growth factors penetrate deep into your skin so they can work their rejuvenating magic.
PRP plasma microneedling is a skin pen treatment using plasma from your blood which we draw and spin to separate the plasma from the blood. This is the most natural anti-ageing treatment because we use your plasma as an elixir that we push into the skin using the microneedling treatment. This stimulates the body to reproduce lost collagen. The skin will be tighter and fresher looking after the recommended sessions. It is an excellent age prevention treatment. A local anaesthetic numbing cream will be applied.
Finally, your senior practitioner will apply some leftover PRP/PRF to your face as serum, and an SPF 50 will be applied before leaving us. The treatment usually takes less than two hours, and it has 2 to 5 days of downtime. Many patients return to work the very next day.
Your skin will look red over the treated area for 2 to 3 days. We always describe it as a mild to moderate sunburn look. After the redness calms down, the skin can look patchy for a few more days. Please allow seven to10 working days to get all the induced damage to heal.

We do not perform this treatment the same day or together with Botox and Fillers, but you are allowed to have some injectable treatments 7 to 10 days afterwards.
Absolutely not. Sun exposure can be very damaging during the healing process. You can damage and pigment your skin and cause some irreversible damage. Please wear an SPF 30/50 at all times.
If you have never treated your skin before and are looking to correct scarring, acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, then you will need a minimum of 3 sessions, four weeks apart from each other. We will cover your skin plan during your initial consultation.
